Rules:

Contest open for students from age 6 to 11 or Std. 1 to 5.
It will be ONLINE LIVE contest on ZOOM. No recorded videos will be considered.
Theme: INDIAN STORIES (any Indian story like from Mahabharat, Ramayan, Jataka Katha, Hitopdesh, Panchatantra, Akbar-Birbal, Tenali Ram, Amar Chitra Katha, Vikram-Betal, Malgudi Days, or story of great men like Gandhi ji, Vivekanand, Dr. APJ Kalam; folktales, nani ki kahaniya, bedtime stories, etc.) |
Time allotted to each participant: Story should not exceed more than 3 minutes.
Date: Starting from 31 May 2021 7 pm (session will end at 8 pm). Students will be allotted time slots depending on number of entries we receive.
LAST DATE TO REGISTER 28th May 2021
Language: Hindi or English (marks will be deducted if mix language used)
Certificate: No participation certificates will be given.
Prizes: Trophies will be couriered to the FIRST THREE winners and TWO consolation prizes will be given.
Entry fee: Rs. 100 per participant | No fee for students of AM Knowledge Academy

Judgement parameters (Total 40 marks)

15 marks for CONTENT: Story should be meaningful, content and quality of story has the highest marks. Students should mention source of story, (author, if any), the title of story, (moral or lesson not necessary, but can help you score some marks).
10 marks for LANGUAGE: Either Hindi or English, proficiency in language will score you more marks. Correct, clear and accurate pronunciations are expected. Clear enunciation, intonation, flawless grammar, diction and fluency is expected.
15 marks for EXPRESSION: Presentation, delivery, voice modulation and clarity.

Do's and Don'ts

No offensive or controversial stories.
No reading from notes or reading materials.
Prompting by another person will amount to disqualification.
No props, digital backdrops or sound effects.
No over-dramatizing.
Participant is expected to wear plain WHITE tee-shirt, top, shirt and properly combed.
Make sure your audio is working properly and your story is not exceeding 3 minutes.
Video should be ON during your turn.
Decision of the judges is final.
Individual marks will not be disclosed.
Students can witness the contest as online audience.
ZOOM ID and password will be provided on SMS by 30th May 2021.
